Limited Term Adult In-Car – 8 hrs

Inspired Driving Academy LLC., hereinafter referred to as “IDA” agrees to provide applicant, hereinafter referred to as “Student”, 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training based on the Ohio Class D course curriculum. The student will complete the 24-hour equivalent of required classroom with an Ohio approved Class D online provider. Should a student be unable to attend available training sessions offered, the school is relieved of the aforementioned obligation. IDA shall furnish a licensed instructor and a motor vehicle for instruction. The tuition for said instruction is $549 .

In-Vehicle Training: The Student is required to obtain a valid temporary driving permit and pay tuition in full prior to scheduling the practical driving portion of the training. If the student must cancel a scheduled driving appointment, cancellation must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so may result in an additional fee of $50 . The same fee shall apply should the Student fail to appear for, or for any reason not prepared to take, the scheduled lesson. Should a check received as payment of tuition in whole or in part, be returned due to insufficient funds, the Student may be removed from the driving schedule until such a check is made good.

The student is required to complete all available training within six months of the date the training begins. No student is permitted to complete more than six hours of online and behind-the-wheel training in a twenty-four hour period. Upon expiration of this agreement, a reinstatement fee may be charged before any further services are provided. IDA does not guarantee the issuance of a driver license to the Student. If training is not completed within the six months, a new agreement shall be established and training shall be restarted.

Cancelation: IDA reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time, should the Student’s conduct indicate a lack of responsibility deemed necessary by IDA to safely operate a motor vehicle. Destruction of property, or the possession, distribution, or use of any tobacco product, alcohol, or drug of abuse is strictly prohibited. Should this agreement be cancelled under such circumstances, all fees may be pro-rated, based upon hours of service provided prior to cancellation.

Payment and Refunds: Payment must be made in full prior to any lessons or instruction. NO REFUNDS will be given if IDA is willing and able to complete all training within three months from the date of the first day of class. IDA accepts cash and all major credit cards (VISA, MC, AMEX, or DISC).

Camera Usage: IDA utilizes cameras at the school and in all vehicles to ensure the safety of each student and instructor. Cameras are used in a professional, ethical, and legal manner and are limited to situations that do not violate the reasonable expectation of privacy as defined by law.

All students must have their permit, wear closed-toed shoes (no flip-flops) and glasses/contacts (if prescribed) for all in-vehicle lessons. Students arriving for all in-vehicle lesson without any of these will result in a canceled lesson and rescheduling fee. The student must be on time for the appointment. The same no-show/rescheduling fee may apply if the student is more than 10 minutes late for the appointment.

Certificate of Completion: IDA will issue a Certificate of Completion according to state rules: completion of required number of hours, the student’s good faith effort having been exercised during the practical driving portion, and the attainment of a score equal or greater than 75% on the performance measurement. Upon the successful completion of the course the student will receive the Certificate of Completion via email 5-7 business days. If a Certificate of Completion is lost or misplaced, a duplicate certificate may be issued at a cost of $15.

By signing this contract, I certify that I have read and agree to the Training Agreement and ensure that the information provided is accurate. Furthermore, I agree to the above IDA policies and acknowledge that the student will have 6 months to complete the entire program per Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4508.

Commercial Driving schools are licensed by the Department of Public Safety through the Driver Training Program Office, 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223.

A $50 rescheduling fee will be assessed if appropriate notice to cancel or reschedule is not provided at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled drive time, if the student does not present a valid permit at the time of the drive (**the hard plastic permit is required; paper permits are no longer valid once the hard plastic permit has been issued**), or if the student is not wearing proper footwear as outlined in the training agreement.

In addition, a $150 cancellation fee will be charged if a student arrives for their initial scheduled drive and is unable to provide the required **Certificate of Completion** for the appropriate ONLINE classroom training, or if the drive is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled drive time and the certificate does not reflect that the classroom training was completed prior to the cancellation.
