At Inspired Driving Academy, we offer comprehensive Adult Driver’s Education for individuals 18 years and older. Our programs are designed to help adults build essential driving skills, boost confidence behind the wheel, and meet Ohio’s licensing requirements.
Online Course Options
We recommend Too Cool Traffic School for state-approved online programs, including:
- 24-Hour Classroom Course (Adults 18-20 years old & Limited Term License)
- Abbreviated Adult Course (4-Hour)
- Remedial Course
Adults (18-20 yrs old) & Limited Term License In-Car Training
Adults (18-20yrs old) and those who hold a Limited Term License may complete 8 hours of Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) instruction after finishing a 24-hour online classroom course.
Tuition: $549
Includes:
- Four 2-hour driving lessons (spaced at least one week apart for time to practice)
- Lessons increase in complexity to build confidence and safety awareness
Lesson Details:
- Location: 617 Carle Ave, Lewis Center, OH
- Instruction provided in English
- Students must call to schedule their four lessons
- Students should complete at least 20 hours of practice with a licensed adult before beginning lessons
Certification:
Students who complete both the online course and in-car training will receive the Ohio Class D Certificate of Completion, issued 5-7 days after final drive.
A Limited Term License is a non-renewable, non-transferrable driver’s license issued to temporary residents in the U.S. It is valid for the length of their authorized stay. These individuals are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents, but do have legal presence under immigration law.
Student Requirements
To ensure a successful driving lesson, students must:
Bring a valid driving permit- Wear tennis shoes (No sandals, slides, flip-flops, or boots)
- Arrive early and be prepared to begin on time
Note: Failure to meet these expectations may result in a canceled lesson and a $40 no-show fee, per the Training Agreement.
Abbreviated Adult In-Car Lessons
After completing the 4-hour online course, students can begin in-car training with our certified instructors.
Tuition: $449
Includes:
- Two 2-hour driving lessons (4 hours total) spaced at least one week apart for practice
- Maneuverability practice
- Must bring Certificate of Completion from the online course
Lesson Details:
- Location: 617 Carle Ave, Lewis Center, OH
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Instruction provided in English
Certification:
Students who complete both the online course and in-car training will receive the Ohio Adult Abbreviated Certificate of Completion, which is required to retake the driving test.

Additional Driving Lessons
Need more practice? Additional in-car sessions are available after completing an adult Course.
